HALLOWEEN

Ok, so I know the kids are JUST going back to school, but I feel like I want to do something big for Halloween this year.  We recently moved into a house, and I always remember saying that when I get a house it will ALWAYS be decorated for every occasion. So here are some fun ideas I'm thinking of for this Halloween. With a quick trip to the dollar store or art supply store you can create the following, and have a fun filled afternoon.

GLITTER PUMPKINS

Who doesn't Love Glitter.... simply coat pumpkins in glue and add glitter, or spray paint with glitter spray. For easy clean up  place pumpkin's in a box, so you can leave them to dry and easily rid of excess  glitter.

  MR POTATO HEAD PUMPKINS

For quick, adorable, and best of all no mess pumpkins the kids are sure to love, bring out old Mr. Potato Head.  create funny faces by simply piercing the pieces into the pumpkin.

PAINTED PUMKINS

Kids will love this. Cover working area with old newspaper for easy clean up. Place paint in containers and let the kids imagination go wild.  You can pick up 12 packs of paint brushes and acrylic paint from the local dollar store or art supply store. I like to use old baby food jars to store the paint in.
